Captain Ainsley Seaton, a retired professional soldier, amateur explorer and talented artist, finds his well-buried past unexpectedly resurrected, who seems to know more about Seaton's history than he does, as his association with a young girl's fatal accident in the depths of the Amazon is revealed.
