Beschreibung
Could you survive three and a half years on a South Pacific island that didn't technically exist. Would it be easier if seventy-two million dollars in drug revenue were yours for the taking if you were ever rescued. How would it change your life. After witnessing a drug deal, Marin, a Kansas City decorator, survived the ship's explosion, the men hunting her and the isolation by her cleverness and resourcefulness, with the aid of flotsam washed up on shore. Ramone, a typhoon-displaced fisherman rescued Marin, the only survivor, and the new life of Shee had begun, the identity and the plans perfected throughout her long wait. Together they forged a relationship based on trust, secrets, lies and money while building a hotel empire on Martinique, her Caribbean playground and, eventually, her killing field. Raef, now a priest and Thom, the attorney who would become her fiance, were told the truth but was she too cool, contriving and deceptive for love to overcome. A vicious gun battle at the Miami wharf was the second crack in Thom's love. Shee was desperately trying to hold on. Shee is a riveting tale of deceipt, greed, and intrigue coupled with the privileged life of the rich sailing the islands of the Caribbean.
