Beschreibung
The zombie outbreak has ravaged the Caribbean for ten brutal months. On the besieged shores of Puerto Rico, a tight-knit group of survivors clings to life in a fortified resort. Tensions mount as resources dwindle and fear of betrayal grows within their ranks. Alejandro, the tactical and determined leader, struggles to maintain order while his partner, Camila, pushes for a dangerous escape plan. When a grisly attack shatters their fragile peace, suspicions erupt, and Alejandro must decide whom to trust. The group fractures, forcing Alejandro and Camila to confront both the undead and human treachery as they fight for survival. Desperation leads to a shocking betrayal that leaves Alejandro questioning his own leadership and the cost of survival itself. Meanwhile, on a storm-lashed island in the Bahamas, another group of survivors faces their own deadly trials. Harmony, a resourceful young woman, emerges as an unlikely leader when her boyfriend, Jackson, is bitten during a supply run. As she grapples with the decision to end his life before he turns, the group is divided between those who cling to hope and those who embrace brutal pragmatism. When a charismatic stranger named Rafe washes ashore, promising salvation on a nearby island, Harmony must choose between trusting him or staying loyal to the group. The promise of safety lures them into a perilous journey, but tensions explode when Rafe's true intentions are revealed. In Puerto Rico, Alejandro's group is torn apart. Camila's defection to a rival faction leaves him reeling, but a surprise alliance offers a slim chance of escape. The survivors unite for a final push to the coast, battling both zombies and the bitter knowledge that not all of them will make it. Alejandro's resolve is tested as he faces a deadly showdown with those who betrayed him, forcing him to confront the harsh realities of trust and sacrifice. Back in the Bahamas, Harmony's group reaches the island only to discover Rafe's betrayal. He has led them into a trap, intending to abandon them and hoard supplies for himself. With zombies closing in, Harmony rallies the survivors in a desperate stand, turning the island's abandoned ruins into a fortress. Her leadership transforms as she learns the strength of community and the power of hope, even in the face of overwhelming odds. As Alejandro and Harmony's stories converge, both groups are pushed to their limits. In a gripping climax, Alejandro's survivors face a final betrayal that leaves them scattered and broken, while Harmony's group mounts a daring escape. The survivors from the Bahamas find unexpected refuge on a passing ship, and Harmony's emergence as a leader is complete. Alejandro, left alone on a desolate beach, watches the ship sail away, a haunting reminder of what he has lost and the price of survival.
