Nine amazing novels featuring Inspectors Lestrade, Bradstreet, Gregson, and Hopkins, along with Our Heroes, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson In 2008, Marcia Wilson began simultaneously writing a number of novels and short stories relating the stories of the Scotland Yard Inspectors who worked closely with Sherlock Holmes. Over the next few years, she completed a remarkably prodigious amount of work, revealing previously unknown and fascinating details about the lives of Inspectors Lestrade, Gregson, Bradstreet, and Hopkins, and their vastly interesting families and backgrounds. She wove this story into the escalating investigation of Professor James Moriarty - and along the way, she provided a different - yet still heroic and respectful - perspective of Our Heroes, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John H. Watson. This vast interrelated narrative appeared online, and a few pieces - just the very beginning of the much bigger picture - were published as books. Then. the online stories were taken down, and none of the additionally planned books in the series were published to share the rest of the story. until now. Finally, nine of the major novels in the "Sherlock Holmes and the Scotland Yarders" series by Marcia Wilson are being published in handsome uniform editions - the first of a planned series which will include other volumes in the future. Once these stories have been read, you will never see Lestrade, Gregson, Watson, Holmes, and the others the same way again. Truly, Marcia Wilson has found Scotland Yard's Tin Dispatch Box. BOOK II: Test of the Professionals - The Adventure of the Flying Blue Pidgeon It's 1883, and someone is stealing lead (known as "flying blue pidgeon") from the rooftops of London. Is it just a nuisance crime, or the first obscure clue revealing a staggering conspiracy. Meanwhile, a terrifying figure from Lestrade's past surfaces, and he meets Miss Clea Cheatham - and her most unique family.
