The Borders Abbeys Way

A guidebook to walking the 109km (68 mile) Borders Abbeys Way, a circular route connecting the medieval abbeys of Melrose, Dryburgh, Kelso and Jedburgh. This long-distance trek through the Scottish Borders is suitable for all abilities and can be walked in 1 week. Presented in 6 stages of 8-24km (5-15 miles). Beginning and finishing in Tweedbank this is one of Scotland’s Great Trails. Route passes Melrose, Newtown St Boswells, Kelso, Jedburgh, Denholm, Hawick and Selkirk. Suitable to be walked year-round. GPX files available to download. 1:50,000 OS maps are included for each stage.
