George MacDonald (1824-1905) was a Scottish author, poet and Christian minister. He is best known for his fairy tales and fantasies. This little book is full of daily inspirational thoughts in the form of short verses. The book was first published with writing on only the right page allowing the reader to writer their thoughts on the left hand page. This was quite an innovative idea for the 19th century
