A multidisciplinary survey of Sidonius Apollinaris and his works Sidonius Apollinaris, c. 430 - c. 485, poet and letter-writer, aristocrat, administrator and bishop, is one of the most distinct voices to survive from Late Antiquity and an eyewitness of the end of Roman power in the west.
