Beschreibung
When three friends decide to follow Jesus' words, one small idea turns into a big adventure in kindness. After hearing the story of the Good Samaritan at church one Sunday, best friends Gus, Charlie, and Emma decide they want to do more than just listen-they want to live. it. And so the Good Samaritan Club is born, with one simple mission: find people who need help, and help them. But doing the right thing isn't always easy. As the club sets out to serve their neighborhood, they discover that helping others can take teamwork, courage, and sometimes a little creativity. There's a frightened kitten stuck high in a tree, a lonely widow who needs a friend, a playground bully who won't back down, a broken window that needs making right, and a grumpy old neighbor whose angry front door hides a story no one expected. Along the way, Gus, Charlie, and Emma learn that being a good neighbor means being brave even when you're scared, telling the truth even when it's hard, and showing kindness even to people who don't seem to want it-because that's exactly the way Jesus loves us. Perfect for children ages 8-10, The Good Samaritan Club. is an easy-reading chapter book that brings the timeless parable of Luke 10 to life through characters young readers will recognize in themselves.
