Traversing Leonard

Fiction. Music. Science Fiction. Winner of the 37th Annual 3-Day Novel Contest. Paul is a young physics professor at a major university. Paul is drawn to Leonard Zavitsky, a once- promising but now washed up and very annoying ex-professor who is kept on as a custodian mostly out of pity. The once great Zavitsky has some wild theories about quantum time travel. Everyone laughs (including Paul) until Paul realizes that Zavitsky might be right. Leonard convinces Paul and they decide to build a quantum time machine to journey back to Leonard's childhood and save Leonard from himself.
