Synopsis: Virginia. Our Home is an educational children's book that introduces young readers to the Commonwealth of Virginia and its five distinct geographic regions. Written by a 4th-grade teacher, this book serves as an accessible introduction to Virginia's geography, helping elementary students understand the state's diverse landscapes and regional characteristics. The colorful illustrations and clear layout make it an ideal educational resource for young learners studying Virginia history and geography. Autobiography: Florence M. Coleman is one of thirteen siblings who grew up in the southern Piedmont region of Virginia in Halifax County. She has a Master of Education degree and a Master of Divinity and is a lifelong learner. She has served as an educator for 30 years in public and private schools, community colleges, and as a GED Instructor in the penal system. She has one son, one daughter, and two pets. She enjoys singing, writing, travelling, reading, driving the motorcycle, and having backyard gatherings with food, family, and friends.
