Drawing on the ideas of philosopher and medical theorist Wolfgang Wieland, Maximilian Kassai demonstrates why this development of probabilisation within the medical mindset is by no means new. The work also highlights the limitations of statistical utilisation. It is hoped that this dissertation will help to address the urgent need for a medical-theoretical framework for AI in medicine.
