This book treats childrearing and education as the domain in which the propositions of generative relational being become simultaneously visible, testable, and unavoidable. The child occupies a position the framework had addressed only obliquely. An account of the subject that presumes a party who has already been seen, who holds other relations elsewhere, and who therefore retains reserves against which any present relation can be measured, describes an adult. A young child holds none of these. The book's founding asymmetry follows, and with it a re-derivation requirement: wherever an earlier proposition concerned something a subject may do, this book must establish that the doing is available to a child, and where it is not, must state what takes its place as a new proposition. The argument proceeds in four movements. The ontological movement surveys nineteen traditions of developmental theory for their ontological presuppositions and locates in each the point at which a relation ceases to constitute and begins merely to transmit. The diagnostic movement treats asymmetry as constitutive rather than remediable, the absorption of the power asymmetry continuously generates, and what follows when absorption ceases: the symbol that governs both the mode of contact and the rules by which evidence about itself will be read, the gaze whose singularity makes recognition zero-sum irrespective of material abundance, and the projection of a childhood onto a unified optimisable space. The explanatory movement develops the co-generation of knowledge, the relational form of authority and the conditions of its closure, and the transmission of grammar across generations and educational traditions. The fourth movement carries the account into practice. A part on the neural literature states what a neural measure locates and observes a restriction in both directions, so that no neural finding settles a relational question and no claim here is supported by a neural correlate. A part on the generative development of human capacities treats perception, movement, language, concrete and formal operation, relational capacity, self-regulation, normativity, and aesthetic sensibility under one architecture, with the developmental trajectories, the named instruments, the support practices, the standing of each empirical finding relied upon, the apparatus of evidence-based decision, and the chain running from evidence gathered about one child through an inferred state to a decision under a threshold. A part on method proposes relational observables, a graph model, a dynamical model, and a reconstruction of a generative action from observed trajectories, with simulations exhibiting why development is nonlinear and how a system approaches a critical state. A part on the practice of relation treats response, the shared third, channels of revision, rupture and repair, and household governance. The book declines the form of advice. Its practical weight is earned by describing what certain acts do, and the wall between dynamical description and normative justification is held with particular care in a domain where the sentence that a measure serves a child's future arrives with unusual sincerity and occasional truth. A closing part names the questions the account leaves open, submits it to a projection test against existing theories, and records where the argument is weakest, including a self-audit of the sections that failed the book's own re-derivation requirement.
