Beschreibung
How can we find the words to describe something greater and more wonderful than words can express. How do we express the inexpressible wonder of God's love. What do we say when our hearts are on fire with love for Christ. How can we pray. How can we convey, how can we put into words our passionate longing for God. Although words seem to fail, our God-thirsty, love-filled hearts still yearn to express the joy we have in God. Your Face I Will Seek: Finding Intimacy with God in Prayer is an attempt to express in words the wonder of God's love for us and our answering love for him. This is not a how-to book on prayer. This book's purpose is to express delight in loving God and being loved by him. Your Face I Will Seek is about a divine romance. It's for lovers looking for a way to express their love. The prayers in this collection will encourage you to passionately express your devotion to your Heavenly Father and inspire you to seek his face and find intimacy with him in prayer. While searching for answers to life's questions, Rod Taylor experienced a dramatic conversion from atheism to a passionate love for Christ and his church. Dr Taylor has served God as a teacher, school administrator, associate pastor, administrative pastor, and senior pastor. He has compiled, edited, and published a book of selected sermons by Robert L. Morgan entitled Show Me Your Ways, O Lord: God's Pathway to a Deeper Spiritual Life. He is the author of So Longs My Soul: Heart-Cry for Intimacy with God. Dr. Taylor is currently the Prayer Director for The Church at Indian Trail. He and his wife, Marlene, reside in North Carolina near their dearly loved children and grandchildren.
